Nothing leaves your device
Mnemio has no backend and no account. Recording, transcription, indexing, search and summarisation all happen on your iPhone. There is no server to send your captures to.
Transcription and summaries
Speech is transcribed by Apple's speech recogniser pinned to on-device recognition. Summaries and recall answers use Apple's on-device model where your hardware supports it, and a local extractive fallback otherwise.
Where your data lives
Captures, transcripts and audio are stored in a protected vault directory on your iPhone with full file protection, excluded from device backup. This release does not sync to iCloud or to any other device.
Microphone, speech and Face ID
Mnemio asks for microphone and speech-recognition access to record and transcribe, and can use Face ID to lock the vault. It does not use the camera, photo library, location or Health data.
Purchases
If you buy Mnemio Pro, Apple processes the StoreKit subscription and shares only the purchase state needed to unlock paid features. We never receive your card details.
What we do not collect
Mnemio does not use advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, contact upload, location or cross-app tracking.
Recording other people
Consent laws for recording conversations differ by country and state. You are responsible for having permission to record.
Delete data
Use Delete all in Settings, or delete the app from your iPhone. Email support@keenshift.ai for help.
